Snowskate words and terms

Backside (Bs):  1.  When a snowskater or his board are spinning, they are spinning backside if the rotation leads the back foot  or tail behind.
                           2.  When ollie jibbing, the potetial trick will be called Backside if the object is behind the snowskater.
                           3.  When Ride-on Jibbing, if you slide and your face to the end of the object, your jibbing backside.
 
Bail:  1.  A fall.
          2.  While in the air or during a Jib, the snowskater decides not to land a trick and kick the board away from him.
 
Bank:  An incline used to ride up, complete a trick and riding back down.
 
Bust:  To land a trick.
 
Catch:  To stop the board rotationg by puting your feet back on it.
 
Concave:  The various curves of the snowskate.
 
Delamination:  When the plys of a snowskate unglue and peel apart.
 
Fackie:  When a snowskater is riding backward with using his normal foot to pop.
 
Flatbar:  A rail or bar that isnt inclined.
 
Flatground:  When the ground is flat..(duh)
 
Flip Trick:  A trick that involves the board to spin on any or a variety of its axis.

Frontside (Fs):  1.  When a skater or his board are spinning, they are spinning frontside if the rotation leads the back foot or the tail in front of the skater.
                           2.  When ollie Jibbing, the potential trick will be called frontside if the obstacle is in front of the snowskater.
                           3.  When Ride-on Jibbing, if your back to the end of the obstacle, your jibbing Frontside.
                       
Gap:  A distance between 2 riding surfaces that a snowskater tricks over.
 
Grab:  Using your hand to grab the board.
 
Griptape/Grip:  Foam on top of the board to keep your feet on the board.
 
Handrail:  A rail that goes down stairs.
 
Jib/Jibbing:  Slinding on the board.
 
Kinked rail:  A rail that is kinked or bent.
 
Land:  To perform a trick succesfully.
 
Ledge:  Any rised surface for jibbing.
 
Line:  Consecutive tricks.
 
Nollie:  An Ollie off of the nose of the board instead of the tail.
 
Nose:  The front angled part of the snowskate.
 
Ply:  A piece of wood that constructs a snowskate.
 
Pop:  1.  To smack the tail on the ground.
          2.  The angle of the board.
 
Spot:  A place to snowskate.
 
Switch:  Riding backwards and not using your normal foot to initiate the trick.
 
Tail:  The back angled part of the snowskate.
